Frank Mariani
Frank Mariani is seasoned (but young-at-heart) artist with over 40 years of experience in the visual arts. Like many of his colleagues, his roots go wayyyy back to childhood where his creativity revealed itself not just in art class, but in the margins and odd free spaces of notebooks, much to the chagrin (and sometimes scolding) of his teachers. When the muse strikes, the hand draws! Frank was a fine arts major during his college years, but the cartoonist inside could not be suppressed. The urge was so strong that his grad school thesis was titled “Cartoon Art as a Fine Art Image.” Degree conferred, mission accomplished!
Humorous illustrations and comics are his specialty, but he also creates infographics and book illustrations. Over the years he’s done work for newspapers, authors and a broad variety of businesses and social organizations.
He’s available to take on new projects if you’re interested in what he does. He offers insightful thought-provoking political and societal humor on a variety of subjects.

Early in the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020 one of Frank’s cartoons went viral. A late night whim led to a ton of new fans appreciating his work. It also launched a new initiative into the arena of political and social satire, genres in which there is no shortage of inspiration!
