I’ve a stash of syndicated infographics that have been collecting digital dust. With permission—thank you, Creators Syndicate—I am allowed to pull them out of my archives and share them here.

Here’s a just-in-time-for-Thanksgiving creation from 2014 that is still an eye opener. I recall bragging about my Dad roasting a 19 lb. turkey when I was a kid in the 1960s. That’s kind of ordinary these days. I mean, my cat weighs 19 lbs! But that’s another story.

So what happened to our beloved bird? For those of you who wistfully recall monstrous Thanksgiving meals from years ago, take a look at the numbers.
