| Call this a soft opening instead of a balloons and fireworks extravaganza. For me, rolling out a new website is all about engaging with an existing audience and growing my tribe the old fashioned way: by earning it. When I’m not tending to the routine of actually making a living I’ll be showing you what goes on in the mind of an always-aspiring-to-be-better humorous illustrator. And along the way I’d like to share the work of some of my favorite cartoonists and illustrators and explaining why they click with me. Artists are never completely happy with their work, so in Let Me Be Frank I will tear my own stuff apart and show you what could have been done better … if it wasn’t for those pesky deadlines and the need to eat and other basic functions! |
